It's included in our covenant and our hearts.  At First Congregational Church we feel strongly about Service to Humanity.  Our missions projects within our community are as important as those projects around the world.

With a long history of service to this community, including founding of the Lighthouse Mission, First Congregational Church's Service to Humanity / Mission Committee actively coordinates a variety of efforts in support of people and programs in our community.  Giving, whether through time, money, or items in need, members of our Church feel strongly about making a difference.  Whether it's around the corner, across the country or on the other side of the world, First Congregational Church cares.

Mission Sunday
The last Sunday of each month is designated as Mission Sunday.  Special contributions collected on that day support a variety of mission projects throughout our community.

We hope you'll join us on Mission Sunday and share in this work.  If you are unable to be there on Mission Sunday, your contribution will be accepted at any time.  You can also mail your contribution to the Church office at 630 Ohio St., Terre Haute, IN 47807.  Be sure to earmark your gift as "Missions".
